
Hell.
These last few weeks had been just that- after such a long period
of peace and silence, it was only expected that the forest would
come alive again, but the boy couldn’t have known that it would be
with such unexpected ferocity, zero to ten on the danger meter in
less than a couple of hours.
An earthquake had CRACKED the main road downtown in
half, proceeding a wild storm that had lasted two days
straight- - with winds so fierce it had ripped up mailboxes
and fence posts right from the ground.
He could not count the number of howls and screams he
had heard throughout the nights; one evening, a family of
tourists had been plucked from their tents, only bloody
stains- but no footprints or evidence of any sort- remaining.
And another, the entire water tower had come crashing down,
and there it still lay, as everyone in the small community
was much too busy with personal affairs to fix it.The woods were growing r e s t l e s s.
This was just what the boy had feared.

Now Togs took a moment to look around, taking notice to the amount of damage the shack was in… Now the boy wondered if the other family was even okay… Quickly shacking his head, once again running his hand under is nose to not let the blood get onto his shirt, he realized the pain in his elbow… Letting out a small pained sigh he looked at the pretty well scraped skin, shivering slightly.
Despite all the pains he’d
undergone in adventuring,
he hated all of them - they
grossed him out after a point…
He let out a small breath, raising his hand to knock again when the voice of Beans reached his ears, causing him to quickly turn around to see the other;
“Beans! -”
That was to excited - calm down Toggsie…
Walking down the steps of the shack, which seemed in worse condition then normal, he called out;
“So hey - What happened here anyway..?”
Worry wells up within you, heart beating faster now that the other is composing his answer… Maybe you messed up? Maybe...
