“Steven is a kid staying with us, his dad runs the car wash in town.” she answered. “What were ya’ doing in the woods anyways, seems a bit dangerous to be wandering ‘round a place full of wolves and stuff. Don’t parents normally tell their kids to stay away from those places or something? Or are you one of those rebels who don’t listen to them?”

That didn’t help much, but he knew he didn’t know this Steven, he didn’t know anyone with that name.
“My Uncle dosn’t mind me in the woods as long as its not during work.” Dipper stated, “He likes when I’m out of the shack… out of his hair as he puts it.” He paused a bit, “Also, the woods aren’t dangerous as long as you know what your doing, like, leave animals alone, they’ll normally leave you be.”
